The Nyxian Drachma
The Nyxian Drachma is the official internal currency of the Queendom of Nyx. Each Drachma represents one gram of silver in valueand serves as the primary medium of exchange for goods, services, and voluntary taxation within Nyx.
The Nyxian Drachma is a silver-standard currency designed to provide a stable and tangible unit of value for the Nyxian economy. Unlike paper currencies backed only by government decree, the Drachma is tied directly to physical silver reserves held by the Crown.
1 Drachma = 1 gram of Silver
The Treasury of Nyx maintains metal reserves used for the backing and minting of the Nyxian Drachma. Current reserves include silver bullion and base metals used for minting coinage.
Current Materials in Reserve
- 10 oz Silver Bullion Bar (Drachma backing reserve)
- 17 1g Silver Bullion Bars (Drachma backing reserve)
- 44 Aluminum Bars (future minting alloy)
- 5 Copper Bars (future minting alloy)
Aluminum and copper will be combined to produce aluminium-bronze alloy coins used in the physical minting of Drachma coinage.
Holders of Nyxian Drachma may voluntarily redeem their coins for physical silver at the fixed rate of:
1 Drachma = 1 gram of silver
Redemption is administered directly by the Crown Treasury of the Queendom of Nyx.

In addition to minted Drachma coins, physical silver exchanged by weight is recognized as a lawful medium of exchange within Nyx.
Future Nyxian Drachma coins will be minted using aluminium-bronze alloys and will symbolize the economic independence and cultural identity of the Queendom of Nyx.

These currencies do not replace the Drachma as the official internal currency of Nyx.
